Attended by the different attached agencies and bureaus of the Department of Agriculture, the Regional Management Committee meeting was successfully conducted today at Philippine Carabao Center, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
The attendees include: Francisco De Belen, Jr. and Juan Millar (Philippine Coconut Authority), Melba Manalo (Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation Cabanatuan), Merlina Teraldico (Philmech), Assistant Center Director Mario Alviar Lapitan (Agricultural Training Institute), Division Manager Rosalinda Bote (National Irrigation Administration UPRIIS), Executive Director Dr. Arnel Del Barrio Perla Florendo (Philippine Carabao Center), Executive Director Dr. Sailila Abdula (Philippine Rice Research Institute), Regional Director Rex Estoperez (National Food Authority), Division Manager Virgilio Ilao (National Irrigation Authority), Maria Andrea Gueco (National Economic and Development Authority Region 3), Chairman Francisco Hernandez (Regional Agricultural and Fishery Council), Romina Yutuc (Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources), Dr. Mateo Puatu and Dr. Celerino Latong (National Meat Inspection Service), and Regional Technical Director Crispulo Bautista (Department of Agriculture Central Luzon) “With this RMC meeting we would better undertand each agencies’ and bureaus’ thrusts and priorities for 2018 thus be able to further improve the current state of agriculture in the region.” said RTD Bautista during the opening program.
RTD Bautista highlighted the major accomplishments of the agriculture sector in Central Luzon last 2017.
The PCC, PSA, ATI and NIA presented their agencies’ plans and programs for 2018.###
