CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA—To highlight the Women’s Month Culmination Program, the Department of Agriculture in Central Luzon paid tribute to some inspiring DA women personnel on March 26 after the regular flag ceremony rites at the DA Grounds.

The inspiring women were Atty. Jennilyn M. Dawayan, Marissa Umali, Rhodora Galan, Ma. Lourdes Baluyut, Rolibeth Zapata, and Emily David.

Also the awarding ceremony of the winners of the different contest categories were recognized in line with the said celebration.

The winners for the on-the-spot poster making contest were Marlon Beltran (1st), Cesar Nepomuceno (2nd), and Matthew Mak Capillo (3rd) for the male category, Gerlie Manga (1st), Mariella Sunga (2nd), and Mylene Miclat (3rd) for the female category.

For the on-the-spot essay writing contest the winners were Emnico David (1st), and Arvin Guinto (2nd) for the male category and Noemi Guintu (1st), and Maureen Munoz (2nd) for the female category.

For the photo contest, the winners were Christian Paul Perez (1st), Cesjoey Carl Encarnacion (2nd), and Jerome Gumangan (3rd) for male category, and Golda Kimberly Fernandez (1st), Maureen Munoz (2nd), and Kathleen Catacutan (3rd) for female category.

The winners received 3,000 pesos for the first placer, 2,000 pesos for the second placer, 1,000 pesos for the third placer, and 500 pesos as consolation prize.

Meanwhile, the winners for the edible landscaping contest were Administrative and Finance Division (1st), Research Division (2nd), and Regional Agricultural and Engineering Divison (3rd).

The winners received 5,000 pesos for the first placer, 3,000 for the second placer, 2,000 for the third placer and 1,000 as consolation prize.###
