FARMERS BENEFIT FROM CENTRAL LUZON TRADING POST

City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 3 (DA RFO 3), together with Armed Forces of the Philippines, Provincial Government of Pampanga, and City of San Fernando, Pampanga (CSFP) launched a Central Luzon Trading Post as part of their efforts to promote organic agricultural products.

Located at Salilungan Brgy. San Juan, CSFP, the Central Luzon Trading Post also known as Food Terminal is one of the major socio-economic recovery projects of the government with the local farmers from the highlands of Luzon.

The project aims to directly engage our local farmers in the market, by that it will increase the income of farmers and significantly reduce the price of food commodities for the consumers.

Moreover, it also aims to promote organic inputs and products in strategic areas and provide an outlet for selling organic food products.

The trading post will serve as delivery point of fresh vegetables, fruits, fish and meat. Their products not only in Pampanga but also in other provinces in Central Luzon.
