February 2, 2022 – The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III conducted a consultation meeting with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) at Hacienda Gracia, Lubao, Pampanga facilitated by the Field Operations Division headed by its chief Ms. Elma Mananes. It was virtually attended by provincial and regional representatives of PSA, provincial agriculturists and provincial veterinarians of Region 3.
The meeting is a reconciliation/harmonization of DA-RFO III’s agricultural data with PSA and local government units which is an important part in the implementation of agricultural programs and projects to come up with baseline data for appropriate interventions. During the meeting, regional data on different commodities were presented by DA-RFO III banner programs coordinators.
Regional Technical Directors Dr. Eduardo Lapuz, Jr. and Dr. Arthur Dayrit also graced the said meeting with the presence of Agriculture Provincial Coordinators of Region 3.
