February 2, 2022 – DA National Livestock Program Luzon Cluster kicked-off its Plan and Budget Preparation Workshop for the year 2023 today hosted by Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III at Hacienda Gracia, Lubao, Pampanga.
DA RFO III Regional Technical Director Eduardo Lapuz, Jr. welcomed the participants while Director Ruth Miclat-Sonaco of the National Livestock Program officially opened the workshop.
During the duration of this four-day workshop, DA Regional Offices will present various plans and strategies for the improvement of the major commodities on livestock.
Other priorities to be discussed include the National Animal Genetic Resources, Animal Health Services, Livestock Economic Enterprise Development (LEED), Maintenance and Upgrade of Government Stock Farms/ Development of Nucleus and Multiplier Farms, PhilAIMIS, LPI-EWS, Program Advocacy, Awards and Recognition and the Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion (INSPIRE) program.
