AMAD launches KADIWA ni Ani at Kita at NEECO I
The Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office III in partnership with Department of Energy opened Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita through the National Electrification Administration at NEECO I Gapan District office, Brgy. San Vicente, Gapan, Nueva Ecija on November 23, 2020.
Participating exhibitors include Golden Beans and Grains Producers Coop, Candaba Duck Muli-purpose Cooperative, Pag-Asa RIC Burgos, Ollie’s Footwear, Sweet Haven, Rose Bitoy Salted Eggs, Arbie’s Aquamarine products and Pinagbuklod na Adhikain Agriculture Cooperative.
Ms. Carmencita S. Nogoy, Chief of Marketing Development Section (AMAD) remarked that the Depatment of Agriculture in coordination with DOE launched Kadiwa to provide the electric consumers and clients to have an opportunity to buy products directly from farmers and producers. “The paying customers of NEECO can have the chance to purchase goods without the intervention of middlemen hence lower prices for the clients of electric cooperative” Nogoy added.
Products exhibited include rice, eggs, lowland vegetables, baked goods, soya, seafood, fried itik, footwear, relyenong bangus, leche flan, salted eggs, tuyo and other edible products.
