Calamansi Processing Facility, Calamansi Gravity-type Filling Machine at Brgy. Corazon de Jesus, Concepcion, TarlacMarch 28, 2022 – Led by Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division Chief Fernando C. Lorenzo and High Value Crops Development Program Coordinator, Engr. AB P. David, the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 3 awarded various interventions to Concepcion Calamansi Growers and Rice Producers Cooperative (CCGRPC) at Brgy. Corazon de Jesus, Concepcion, Tarlac.
Under High Value Crops Development Program, the CCGRPC, headed by its Chairperson Numeriano C. Bernandino, accepted the award for the 1 unit Calamansi Processing Facility and 1 unit Calamansi Gravity-type Filling Machine which in total amounts to P1,357,417.62. The establishment of these projects will help enhance the capacity of the cooperative in the production of calamansi juice.
Also, the cooperative received the award for the 1 unit FB Body Four-Wheel Truck which is worth P1,325,456.00 under the Enhanced Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita program of DA. This will give them an ease in the hauling and delivery of the members’ produce to their target markets and in other transport services needed by the cooperative.
