DA Central Luzon celebrates International Men’s Day
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA – The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 3 through the Gender and Development Focal Point System conducted an annual event celebration of the International Men’s Day today with a theme of “Positive Male Role Model” focusing on giving men’s and boy’s good and positive role models held at the DA Conference Room.
This aims to focus on improving gender relations, promoting gender equality, producing responsible males and highlighting positive role models and recognizing the contributions and efforts of men behind the agriculture sector in our country.
Our farmers and fishers set a good example to our community by being a good provider and to our economy, by providing sufficient food and contributing to the gross domestic product of our country.
Subsequently, various contests were held such as the Search for 2021 DA Male Role Model of the Year, DA Male GAD Advocate, 2021 DA Male Contractual of the year, Digital Art Contests, and Kahoot Quiz Bee.
