DA stepping up aid to Ips

The Department of Agriculture (DA) is stepping up the implementation of planned projects and programs that will help Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs) or better known as Indigenous Peoples (IPs) in the third region.

Undersecretary for Policy and Planning Rodolfo Vicerra and Regional Executive Director Crispulo Bautista visited and met with IPs from Porac, Pampanga and Municipal Hall of San Marcelino and Botolon in the province of Zambales on 22th to 23th January .

The said activity discussed the strategies to be implemented to grow their covered land and develop rural agriculture.

The focus of the Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) Program program is that small farmers and fishermen in the country have access to resources, technology and opportunities.

Encouraged by Usec. Vicerra IPs to have a system and be organized to receive interventions from DA banner programs.

Remember in 2019 the 4 Ks project was launched that will promote livelihood programs and raise the members of IP communities from the midst of poverty.#
