DARFO 3 – GAD holds Business Plan Preparation

City of San Fernando, Pampanga – A Business Plan Preparation was conducted via online by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 3 through the Gender and Development Focal Point System led by GAD Focal Person Dr. Irene M. Adion on August 10.

This aims to increase women’s awareness about government programs providing business development services by training them in proposal preparation, improving women’s skills in preparing business plans, and increasing women’s awareness of the availability of government support for women.

To acknowledge the role of rural women, the agency continues to work with the national and local partners, Non-Governmental Organizations, and beneficiaries that helped achieve gender equality at the policy and strategic level.
Participants were representatives from Local Government Units and women leaders. The three-day training is expected to end on August 12.
