GOOD ANIMAL HUSBANDRY PRACTICES (GAHP) CERTIFICATION
The Good Animal Husbandry Practices (GAHP) Certification program of the Department of Agriculture aims to ensure the production of safe and high-quality food by requiring farmers to adhere to the Philippine National Standards: Code of GAHP and its species-specific counterparts. These standards consist of general principles of good practice and minimum requirements for the rearing or farming of animals. The main objective of this certification is to ensure that farm practices provide consumers with products that are safe and suitable for distribution and/or human consumption. Additionally, it aims to ensure the safety and comfort of farm workers and animals while preventing environmental degradation.

- Municipal/City Licenses and/or Permit (including Zoning Clearance)
- Proof of Registration/Creation as an Establishment
- Certificate of Non-Coverage (CNC)/Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC)
- LTO as Animal Facility/Animal Welfare Certificate of Registration
- Feeds/Feedmill Registration
- Handler’s License
- Transport Carrier LTO
- Discharge Permit
