KADIWA enjoyed by customers in Central Luzon
City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Leading the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) of the Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Field Office 3, the Assistant in Spirit and Work (KADIWA) of Ani and Kita cum started again today Fresh Market in Waltermart, San Agustin.
KADIWA ni Ani and Kita is a program that aims to deliver to consumers fresh, healthy and high quality agri-fishery products at affordable prices. In addition, it also aims to help farmers and fishermen increase their profits by selling their crops and products on the market.
In the message of Senior Agriculturalist Menchie Nogoy of AMAD, DA continues to strengthen the project and service to farmers, fishermen and the public towards the development of agriculture.
′′ What we are planning this year is more KADIWA on Wheels, more KADIWA outlets and more partnerships with different supermarkets here in Central Luzon. You still have a lot to watch and for the buyers, let’s enjoy our own,” Nogoy added.
Bernadette David from Lubao, Pampanga has expressed his excitement over the vegetables bought and other local products from KADIWA.
′′ I bought vegetables at a cheaper price and it’s definitely fresh. I hope DA will continue programs and projects like this because the market is really expensive. This is a great help to shoppers like me and helpful sellers,” he said.
In the meantime, Jomarie Hipolito of ML Bounty Food Products is very grateful for the opportunity that the department gives to small entrepreneurs like her.
′′ We are very happy and great help of the projects prepared by DA for our entrepreneurs. In this way, small business owners are also helping especially during this pandemic,” according to her.
KADIWA can be waited in different subdivisions like St. Francis and Villa Victoria in Pampanga province, branches of Waltermart in Central Luzon and Jumbo Jenra.#
