Kadiwa opens at Marquee Mall

The Department of Agriculture through its marketing arm, Agribusiness & Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD), in coordination with the Ayala Malls Corporation has opened Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita at Marquee Mall, Angeles City on October 26, 2020.

The said market system will run until December 31, 2020.The opening of Kadiwa at the said mall is to help local farmer producers and consumers to strengthen direct linkage and develop a system that will abolish “middle men”. Ms. Carmencita S. Nogoy, Senior Agriculturist, remarked that the rental fee for the exhibitors has been paid for by DA.

“The rental fee was shouldered by DA in order to boost the income of local producers and farmers, under Kadiwa, the best possible price is controlled by the farmers” Nogoy added.

Moreover, she added that the consumers can buy goods at much lower and affordable prices because of lesser market layers.

The Kadiwa stalls at Marquee Mall features exhibitors selling houseplants, pots, herbs and spices, lowland & upland vegetables, fruits in season, rice, vinegar and various native delicacies. On October 28 there will also be pets such as birds and aquarium fish.Kadiwa at Marquee Mall is open everyday from 9 AM to 8 PM.
